Obama Campaign Lacks Urgency Despite Tight Polls
The most recent presidential polls confirm that this November's election will be an extremely competitive one, but you would never know it from the way Obama is going about his campaign. The polls collectively give Obama a slight edge of no more than a couple percentage points, not even close to a comfortable margin.
This is leading many people to beg the question: Why is Obama so relaxed? With only a little more than a month until Election Day, he seems to be staying the course with a calm confidence without intensifying his strategies.
Then again, his campaign has already emerged from the Democratic Primaries victoriously in the face of unfavorable polls and skeptical pundits. The next few weeks will show whether they will make any radical changes in methods, and we will all see the outcome of their efforts come Election Day.
